British Formula Ford - Junior Single Seater R

2008 was my rookie season .  It also happened to be the most succesful British Formula Ford season that most people can remember.  I had an absolutely brilliant time.  Maybe that's why some days it's really hard to take in that of the 2009 season is only weeks away.  I keep hearing about new teams and new drivers flocking to take part. and know 2009 is going to be a real treat for motorsports fans.  

British Formula Ford's record of producing great racing drivers is stunning.  I'll list some of the great racing drivers who've come through it and even if you're an out and out motorsports nut like me I think you'll be wowed.

It's a long list, in no particular order except Ayrton Senna is my hero and this is my blog, but it could be a lot longer.  So to all the really good drivers who aren't listed - Sorry.

Whenever I go through that list I know why I want to be a racing driver, I know why I want to compete in British Formula Ford and why it matters so much that the sponsorship deals come through so that I can drive this year.
